What to use on Natural Slate Advice and information on tiling and fixing tiles to a variety of surfaces

I'm in the process of laying a slate patio, i need to protect/polish surface before i grout.

All the products i see on the internet seem to be for indoor use, has anyone out there any ideas of what product i should invest in?
