Can anyone please tell me what is the difference between a lock nut and ordinary nut. I want to secure the wheels of a shopping trolley that are loose and I am thinking of using internal shakeproof washers and a lock nut to secure it, but not to sure if this will work or what exactly shakeproof washers should be used for. Any suggestions will be appreciated
