I recently purchased a new extractor fan to replace our old one that gave up. The new one came today but didn't have a plug socket attached just the neutral and live wires. Our previous extractor used a normal plug but this one says it needs "fixed wiring via a double pole switched fused spur outlet"
If I attach the old 3-pin plug to this new one will it still work?
