[quote="misterg"]It's a bit like an uplighter, but usually a bit more fancy, e.g a candle
shape.
Basically wall lighting.

MISTERG
THANK YOU I HAD NEVER HEARD OF THIS TERM BEFORE.
YOU HAVE BEEN MOST HELPFUL MISTERG.
JMIGUEL
NOW MISTERG HAS INFORMED ME FURTHER , I UNDERSTAND
THAT U WISH TO FIT WALL LIGHTING.
THERE IS A PROJECT SECTION WITH PICTURES ON DOC S
PROJECT SITE.( THAT COULD BE VERY INFORMATIVE.
IF THE LOFT IS ADJACENT TO WHERE U WANT TO FIT THE LIGHTS AS U SAY , THEN NORMALY IT WOULD MEAN TO LOCATE THE LOOP FEED OF THE LIGHTING CIRCUIT, AT THE NEAREST LIGHTING
POINT AND PUT A NEW CABLE FROM THERE TO A JOINT BOX.
OFF YOUR JOINT BOX COULD COME 2 CABLES , 1 FOR EACH WALL LIGHT.
IF THESE LIGHTS DO NOT HAVE INTEGRAL SWITCHES , THEN U WOULD NEED NEED TO USE A 3RD CABLE FOR A SWITCH WIRE.
AS I MENTIONED IN A FORUM QUESTION PREVIOUSLY , I WOULD ADVISE THIS WORK B DONE BY A REGISTERED ELECTRICIAN BECAUSE
BY ADDING ON TO A CIRCUIT U ARE INCREASING THE LOAD , AND
ALTERING ITS DESIGN AND TEST MEASUREMENTS ECT .
