My Father died recently and my Mother has asked me if it is possible to fit an extra light in the garden to make her feel a little safer at night.
She has a light on the outside of the house. there is a seven foot gap across concrete flooring to the garden shed.
What I am wanting to do is take a wire straight across from the existing light on the house wall to the shed, then around the shed to the back where the new light will be fixed.
The wire needs to be raised as it is not possible to take up the concrete to sink the wire.
Could someone please tell me the correct method of doing this.
Am I right to think it would involve attatching a support wire between the house and shed and then running the electrical wire along it? Or maybe steel tubing?
Thanks for your help.
