wooden window in shower

by lizziebriggs » Tue Apr 03, 2007 5:12 pm

I have a upvc window with wooden frame where my bath is. I would like to remove the internal wooden frame replace with upvc covering and extend the upvc cill. Is this possible?

Are there other ways to ensure that the window stays waterproof? Which sealant/adhesive should I use?

If I remove the frame so that it is flush with the plasterboard can i then put the upvc over it?

As you can tell i'm abit stuck. If you can unscramble this and offer advice I would be really grateful.

Thanks,

Lizzie
