Dry verge fixings

by rolthom » Thu May 31, 2007 12:48 am

Hi can anybody help I'm just about to tile my roof with interlocking modern concerte tile, I have been advised to use dry verge on the verges.
My question is that the instructions says that the battens should protrude from the wall 20mm but it dosen't say if this means after the wall has been rendered or before?. So any advice would be welcomed.

Any verge overhang specified is an overhang to the finished wall, ie after the render.

Many thanks
Thought it was after the render but thought I'd better ask first.
