How do I fill gaps between Plasterboard and Ceiling?

by Wull691c » Mon Apr 08, 2024 9:01 pm

Hi all,

In a couple of bedrooms upstairs there is large gaps between the Plasterboard walls and the ceiling (see pictures).

From what I can find on the internet I think this problem might be associated with something called 'Truss uplift'.

Has anyone had any experience with this and any advice on how to fill it?

Any tips welcome.

Thanks,
W

Hi wull691c,
It looks like scrim has not been used when the plastering was done, probably the easiest solution would be to fit coving.
