Towel rad fittings

by carruthers » Sat Feb 07, 2009 12:47 pm

Help ,please
I am replacing a 500 x 700 rad with a towel rail the same size, but the fittings for the towel rail are at the back and are at 460mm whilst the existing rad is at 500mm. How do I make the connection. The supply is on 9 or 10mm copper and come out through the skirting about 18mm off the floor.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Regards

Hi,

You prolly need the pipework altering and use angled rad valves.
