Pretty straightforward question - I'm drylining a wall using vapourblock plasterboard and want to know (i) if it'd be ok to use pb screws/nails with this as they'd obviously pierce the metallic film and so possibly compromise the vapourblock effect, and (ii) if these aren't ok, will standard plasterboard adhesive adhere to the metallic backing and hold the board in place securely. Thanks for any advice.

Plasterboard adhesive will not stick to Foilbacked boards, you need to screw/nail them.

As I suspected - cheers for that - saves me having my pb falling off the wall!

I know this is a month later than when you posted your question, and you have probably finished the job several times over too! But just to set your mind at rest, the PB you are using is 'Vapour-Barrier', so when you screw them to battens, they should be fixed tight enough to prevent any vapour escaping anyway, it doesn't matter that the metallic film is pierced. I there were large rips elsewhere open to the air, it might. Incidentally, screwing PB to battens/joists is better than nailing, firmer fix and no vibration causing other nail heads to break through.
