hello, i have a triton 10.5w shower installed which has worked great over the past 2 years since new. now its not staying at the temperature that is set. once switched on and temp set all goes wel for a minute or so then water temp increases to very hot if not scalding for 30-40 seconds then returns to intended temperature then very hot again at regular intervals. i know very little about electrics and plumbing. i was advised to throw out my shower and buy a brand new one but if it can be sorted cheaper than it costs to buy new then why not. if anyone can help then i will be very grateful. You may find replacing the shower won't make the problem go away!

Electric showers control the water temperature by increasing or reducing the flow rate of the water through the unit.

If you are having fluctuating temperatures, this is unlikely to be an electrical fault with the shower but more probably due to pressure being robbed by demand elsewhere. Another possibility is a reduced incoming water supply such as a partly closed stopcock for example.
