Yes it is the pull switch and because its on the opposite side of a door outside bathroom I guess it is not in any of the zones therefore safe.

Ceiling shower switch

Hi all My question is about a shower and were the 45 amp ceiling switch should be positioned. Should the switch be external of the bathroom or were mine is, we have a door in bathroom which goes in to a small attic the switch is just inside this attic doorway so the position is outside bathroom but ...

Thanks for your anwsers I think an interlock is the best idea, there is no chance of an over load and no chance of both showers on at same time.

2nd electric shower

I am thinking of having a 2nd elec shower fitted would they be able to run from there own breakers. Present shower is 8kw and second one would be the same. Am correct in saying both at same time will draw @ 75amps. What is the maximum a consumer can draw?
