Damian you need to nick the pan scrubber from the kitchen the one with the green face or buy so scotch pads from local shop. Using them dry buff the remaining grout from tile faces.

Don't bother trying to get the ply to stick to concrete. Run 6mm ply across floor boards and then stop at concrete edge, seal along edge to stop self leveller from escaping and pour mixture would be best to prep concrete first to take self levelling mixture with a pva mixture.

1500 Watt Lawn Mower

Can you tell me if running a 1500 Watt lawn mower is ok on a 5 amp fuse it is a main fuse box feed into garage with a 5 amp fuse in it ( 1 5 in main box 1 5 in garage).

If you are using base panels then line the first post up to take base and panel then cut a piece of scrap wood to the height of the panel, move onto second post fit base panel and sit wood on top to get correct height of post or get a long spirit level across tops of post.

Cut the bead so that it finishes level with door frame i.e 30 to 45 deg or drop the belt sander in vice and round them off.

Don't do it, you'll be sat down stairs if you put 4*2 in. Can you not raise the ceiling height instead as this is much easier?
