Plastering behind wood burner

Hi

I have a problem behind my wood burner relating to the plaster peeling due to the heat. Before I re-plaster it does anyone know of a method that will prevent it re-cracking? I have heard that if I use a lime based mortar this will cure the problem? :roll:

Persistant Condensation

We are having a persistent problem with condensation in our main bedroom. We have repainted one wall, which is external, with anti-mould paint and installed extra air bricks below the damp course. The double glazing units are covered in condensation each morning and we have a fine covering of conden...
