Thank you very much for your help.It made me more confident of doing it myself until I noticed it is soldered joints from the supply pipes to the monoblock tap.I don't feel confident enough to saw through the pipes and refit using compressed joints.Thanks again.

I had gas CH installed 4 months ago.Boiler is a Greenstar 28i junior.Thermostat is a Programmable Room Thermostat Wireless Model:RF316/22560.My problem is that sometimes when I put the temperature up,the CH does not come on.The red light does not flash,but the flame symbol on the thermostat comes on...

Thank you very much for your reply.It has been very helpful.As to seeing the manual for pressurising the boiler,I don't understand the manual so I think I'll be getting a heating engineer if it becomes necessary.

Thank you very much for all your help.It's put my mind at ease.I think I'll put up with the noise rather than lifting the floorboards.I've just had a new carpet fitted and I'd hate to go through all the hassle again. :D

If you dont have a pressure washer,another method is to wash them with Jeyes Fluid.You may have to use a stiff brush or a deck scrubber,which can be hard work if you have a lot of slabs to wash.
