is it possible to fit universal parts to a gas fire

Hi folks , I have a Barnard castle sirocco streamline 2 gas fire thats stopped lighting,the pilot assembley needs replaced and a new gas valve will also be fitted , if i can find the correct spares , however is it possible to fit a universal pilot assembley and gas valve to the fire ?

Triton Zante 9.5kw shower no hot water

Hi I have a Triton Zante 9.5kw electric shower , it still works but the water has stopped heating ,i tried a new heating cylinder but still no hot water , any ideas ? I'd rather fix it myself for a few pounds than buy a new shower at present .

ok thanks stoneboy , i think iv'e figured it out co=live red ,nc=neutral blue and no=satisfied yellow , btu all thesame if anyone has any input seen as its a diy forum it'd be much appreciated
