the board you are asking about is called thermal board,this board alone wii not meet regs for a single wall dweling,you will need to install a independent wall lining in metal or timber and put 100mm insulatoin inside it and then board over with thermal board.this will meet regs .but you will have t...

batten it and p/board it,gyp-liner and p/board it.you cant dot & dab it.you can float & set it.if it is in the south i could give you a rate for it.

PARAMOUNT ARE NON LOAD BEARING WALL,AND THE WALL ON THE FIRST FLOOR DOSE NOT HAVE TO SIT ON A JOIST.STAIGHT TO THE CHIPBOARD FLOORING WAS HOW IT WAS DONE.

the wall in question is called paramount,900mm wide boards.buy some drywall adhesive,mix it up nice and creamy but not to thick(double cream).apply to the paramount wall with a hand brush or trowle.across top and bottom,3-4 rows vertical.put the new board onto this and fix top and bottom with screws...
