Hi. Should be no trouble here..Dig your drains out prior to pouring your footings...Surround your pipe in pea gravel and put a lintel over the pipe where it passes through the footings. Always check with your Building Inspector if possible... Good luck...thedoctor3

Hi Denny, You could try repairing it yourself by drilling out the sheared rivits and replacing them with new pop rivits or maybe self tapping screws, small nuts and bolts could be used if the dont interfere with the sliding process.
