BATTENING KITCHEN CABINETS

I am about to start installing a new kitchen & need to bring the wall units out by approximately 60mm. I will be screwing battens to the wall so I can attach 4 units to them (each unit is 500mm wide). To provide the best stability for the units, is is best to have a single batten for all 4 units...
