It will depend how the LEDs are powered
a normal dimmer switch works by clipping the ac sin wave so you may see the leds flickering a bit

You need an electrician to check what you are doing - dont do anything till they have had a look
those colours sound like they are american but i'm not 100% certain
they use green for earth
black for hot
white for neutral
but like I said get an electrician to take a look first

doubt it is anything to do with the load as the load usually brings the voltage down
if you overload the circuit then the mcb should trip or fuse pop
are you using decent branded lamps?
Compact Fluorescent energy saving lamps should last longer and will use less energy

Some of them can there will be an extra terminal in the base with switch live or something like that written on it all you need to do is use the switch live neutral and earth to feed to the other light dont be running twin and earth outside on its own tho it needs to be in conduit or run inside and ...

Oval tubing is better
All it is for is to protect from the plasterers trowel damaging the cable Oval also helps if a cable has been damaged to pull another cable through without ripping the wall to bits

It'll cost you a fortune heating the great outdoors and volt drop might be a tad on the high side

It can be installed outside the zones in a bathroom as long as it is suitable for the environment

Needs to be notified to your local building control for part p if you live in england or wales too but your electrician should look after that
