hi it could be a gas leak, call your gas suplier they will arrange for your local gas transporter to call & check, there visit will be free. best to be safe, they provide this 24 hours...

hi it does sound like a blocked injector, if you can see the injector one way to clear it is, remove one single hair out of a paint brush & try to push it through the middle of the injector,this should clear the blockage. good luck

hi what i can remember of these fires is if it has 3 or 4 radiants (white chalks) it will be between 5/6 kw input so do not need a air vent. can not remember any old free standing/wall mounted gas fires being over 7kw input. hope this helps..

hi leeroy first thing to check is, make sure there is plenty of water in header tank in loft (small tank) second i dont think you will find a motorised valve on the hot water side as u dont normanly have one on gravity hot water.

Flux burns hole in annaconda in 3 weeks.

hi everyone, just been to a cust who had new heating system put in 3 weeks ago, plumber dripped flux on annaconda & did not wipe off. it burnt hole in pipe in 3 weeks, anybody else come across this prob..

hi hadyn 98 any news on tracing flow pipe from 3 port valve. sounds like system has been pumping over & drawing air in for along time. most prob from new. good luck.

HI i have just started looking at this site, the strange smell is because u was using a gas burner in a property were fresh paint had been used somewhere in the property.

hi bazza did you have new boiler conn to old system? black water is a sign of lots of sludge. can u discribe the way your system is piped up, follow flow pipe. is there just 2 water pipes coming from boiler. is there a 3 port valve. for more ref check hydn 98 for checking systems. GOOD LUCK.

hi i have never piped open vent pipe into the water in tank in loft, as it could drag dirt & crap into system. after power flush water in system will still be brown but most of the sludge should have been removed. it sounds like your c/heating system is piped up wrong.a good way to pipe up your ...

hi take one of the rads off again,make sure c/heating is off. open one rad valve at atime & let it flow into a container. if both flow at same rate good chance no blockage. chk rad valves. GOOD LUCK...
