Toilet sistern internal overflow

I have a Ideal Standard toilet with a internal flush, the problem is after every flush it continues to overflow after it as filled is this a simple repair I could carryout myself and are any special tools required

thanks for replying perry525, maybe I didnot explain myself very well what I need to know is how to connect the thing up which wire (blue brown and green/yellow) goes into either, neutral,switched live or permanent live, once again thanks for replying

replacing 4" inline centrifugal bathroom extractor fan

need a bit of guidance please regarding cable connections to above fan the existing cable are green/yellow, brown and blue. The fan is marked neutral=line 1 switched live= line2 permanent live=line 3. It is a pull cord switch linked with the lights.

Thanks for your suggestion plumbob, my apologises for not replying sooner, unfortunatly it has not solved my problem no sign as far as I can see of any screws in the push button

thanks for reply bd3cc, unfortunately didnot resolve the problem could it be a push in type bit reluctant to put to much force in case I do some damage it is an ideal standard may checkout their website, once again thanks for your reply

have a top mounted push button cistern the problem I have his removing the top to gain access to the inside of the cistern, is the sleeve around the water controls just a push in hope I have explained my dilemma OK
