i would take a guess at the mcb supplying a lighting circuit. it used to be common practice to steal a neutral for the landing light from the downstairs lighting and this may be your problem try wiring the lighting circuits to the same mcb if this doesnt trip thats your problem. dont leave it like t...

ufh has its own motorised zone valve this wires back to a polyplumb master connection unit which in turn is controled by 4 individual room stats, that part isnt a problem. the bit i cant work out is whether i need a second zone valve for the upstairs rads or if they can be controlled by a room stat ...

i wouldnt put all my socket circuits on one r.c.d if it goes youve got no sockets, it is good practice to put your upstairs lights on the same rcd as your downstairs sockets and downstairs lights on the same as your upstairs sockets. in fact i think there is a reg that states this.

if they are 17thedition boards you are looking at they should be split and have 2 rcds. the old 16th edition are split and have one rcd and one none rcd protected side which was used to power lights and other items of fixed equipment.

according to 17th edition above 2.25M is classed as outside zones which means any accesory does not need ip protection. however if your house is not wired to 17th edition standards i would be inclined to fit low voltage lights or ip rated fitings.

ufh rads in same system

does antone know where i can get a wiring diagram for wiring a glow worm flexicom to a house with wet ufh on ground floor and rads 1st floor? I have the polyplumb schematic but arent sure how to combine the radiator controll.
