What is the best additive to put in the water to mix into the mortar to repair damp walls?

i have had a damp problem in my living room which has now had a new damp course,i have taken all the plaster off the wall down to the brick,what is the best additive to put in the water to mix into the mortar that i am going to repair the wall with? thanks neald

i have small job to do for a punter and would like some advice,the internal wall area under a bay window has had a new damp course done on the external side and the old plaster on the inside has been hacked off to remove old damp plaster down to the brickwork,should i cement the wall mixing the appr...

wall repair

hello everybody,i need to repair a wall that has had dado rail on,the are a few holes/patches that are from the liquid nails and pins that held the rail onto the wall,what i would like to know the best plaster to use to cover the holes i.e.multi-finish? thanks neal

skimming

hello everyone,i am busy skimming the living room walls in my house and on the 2 walls i've plastered small bubbles appeared in the middle and bottom of the walls and the plaster sagged and it took me quite a while to flatten it out,can anyone tell me what causes this?..thanks neal
