The test should be a Insulation resistance (IR) on the cable & the reading should be a minimum of 25 M Ω for equipment up to 250v.
If you don’t know how to use or read electrical test equipment, get a competent person who does.

Swap the rings over to see if the fault moves to a different circuit.
Then if it has, you have an over sensitive MCB.

You will need to get a Neutral to the outside light, as there is probably not one in the switch.
Will need to run a cable from a light fitting in the house to the outside light, don't know how your going to do it without making a mess.
Then connect the blue to blue.

For your own safety, just buy a new one.

OMG.! That is the 12 volt transformer that you have bypasses, these lamps are designed for 12v & you put 230V through them.
So the best thing to do is, throw away the light & buy a new one.

You could of killed your self or started a fire !!

Join one of the switch black wires to the light black wire in a connector block.
Then the 2 cables left, the white neutral & the other black switch wire, connect these to the live & neutral cables in the wall.

It looks like a neutral, generally the neutral in a switch is not connected to anything, but it will need testing first.
The bottom red looks like the live feed.
It will need testing with a meter, as it could go bang if you short it out
