Which router?

Hi, I am after an entry-level router, that can be mounted on a router table. I have an Einhell model, but it cannot be used upside down on a table, because the power on button is in the handle, let go of this and it stops. Any tips. Cheers. cresser.

Hi all, I have been given an Einhell RT-RO55, Router for Xmas. I`ve never used one before and I suppose it is an entry level tool. I wanted to knock up a router table, but on trying the router a couple of times, it does`nt seem to have the facility to lock the power on, so how would I be able to mou...

Level over vinyl tiles?

The kitchen floor where an extension was built, not by me!, is a little uneven. It`s not overly bad, but I would like to level it off if possible. The floor already has vinyl tiles on it, can anything be used over these, or do they really need to come up, they are not loose or damaged, and I don`t n...

Slow cistern refill

Our push button type toilet has just decided to go on a go slow, it seems to flush ok, but takes an era to fill the cistern. Plastic fittings, any ideas? cheers, cresser.

extra flourescent light

Hi, I already have two flourescent lights in my garage, but I would like to add one more. Could I just run cable from one of the existing lights to the new one, or would I end up torching the house !. Any advice - apart from getting a sparky in, which is the obvious choice - would be appreciated, th...

Felting adhesive/sealant?

On our flat extension roof is a waste pipe from the bath. It runs under the felting that goes up 2-3 courses of brick wall. I need to remove this felting to replace the pipe. What do I need to re-seal the felting to the brickwork before re-pointing? Cheers. Cresser.

Waterseal

Hi all,
I`m just about to have a low front garden wall re-built as the old one is falling down, and I just wondered if, when the new one is built and set/gone off, it would be worth watersealing the brickwork?, and, is it worth doing the house walls too....... cheers, Cresser.

Re-varnishing

I have recently re-varnished an old(ish) telephone table, trying to liven it up a bit. After using wire wool to clean it up and wiping down with a damp cloth, ( I did then leave it to thoroughly dry), I applied the new varnish, but it is drying as if there is water either in the varnish or on the br...
