Hi all, have just swapped out some G4 halogen bulbs for some G4 led's They are 240 volt one's, fitted to a chandelier of which there are 7 in total. Hi ericmark,
thanks for your reply. On reflection, I have run 2 seperate supplys, one for each cooker mcb's rated to each cooker.one rated at 16 amp other at 20 amp, as you say 45 amp way to big for either.

Hi All, can someone answer a simple question, when doing insulation resistance its a requriement to remove the neon light from the circuit. Thanks ericmark, i thought that was the case.I find the DNO very difficult to talk to,all they do is pass you from pillar to post. I also have a metal cut out where the company fuse is,this also is not correct as far as i know. Time to kil two birds with one stone. Once again thankyou

In my house i have no earth, so some time ago i installed an earth rod. The other day i went into my neighbours and noticed that they had a TN-S earthing arrangement, so i knocked at another neighbours and they also had a TN-S system.
