The shaver socket will be a SELV unit and therefore there will no earth on the secondary side.

All other services seem to be in plastic therefore there seems no reason to bond

Best to install an earth rod as it is outside the equipotential zone. Fit a "garage" unit with its own RCD protection.

The integrity of the earth from the house is therefore not now relevant

You won't be able to use the old tin whistle conduit, the electrician will use twin and earth. He may be able to use the old tube to pull up to the loft for the lighting, but this only saves on trunking etc

Under the tub is actually zone 0. Must be IPX7 protection, only 12v SELV equipment is allowed that cannot be reasonably located elsewhere.

No switchgear allowed in zone 0 I am afraid.

We assume that when you say new house, it is not newly built or wired.

A larger cable could possibly be an old cooker cable that has been put into service with a socket outlet on it. This would not be a problem

The heat pump, being in the garden, is outside the equipotential zones. You are right when you say they share a common earth and that is the problem. The solution is to disconnect the earth at the heat pump end and then stake this down on its own earth stake. This should cure the tripping issue Your...
