Def check with building regs in your area as I have just done the same job and they specified 100mm Kingspan for the floor and wall insulation, polystyrene was a no no

As said before, simply remove the doors and internal shelfs, then just remove the screws that hold the carcess together, it should all then be easily dismantled.

I have just had an extension built and had to have the foundations piled at a cost of £500 per pile.

The guy that fitted my windows also quoted for a conservatory and said if I was going to have one built then he would reccomend Mini Piles as there is a lot of weight in a conservatory.

Hi,

If you visit the FENSA website you can type in the property address and it will tell you if the windows fitted are FENSA registered, if they are you can ask for a copy of the FENSA cert from them for £10.

Permanently Removing a Radiator

Hi,

I am looking to permanently remove two small radiators from my house due to a refurb, these are connected to a combi boiler.

My questin is can I just cap the ends of the two pipes off or do they need to be linked together?

Hi Richard,

Cant coment on the your wireing issue

But the economy 7 tarrif normally starts at midnight and ends at 7:00 am (hence economy 7) however the appliance will need its own timer to switch on during these periods to use the cheaper tariff.

Cheers for the info Blakey, My other option was to replace the electric shower in the bathroom with one connected to the hot and cold water supply and then refit the electric one into the en-suite, which is located on the other side of the stud wall so no other rewiring needed other than disconectin...
