Yes thats fine as long as it is connected via a fused connecting unit. Update CU info to that effect for future persons reference. LABC should be notified as its a kitchen mind.

billobach,

You have made things better of course if I read you right. 16mm2 E conductor from MET to service head all good. Obviously its 10mm2 from water and gas and oil and the like to MET or E block, 16mm2 from MET to E block and onto armour as per regs.

Hi, If your new light is a PIR, then on it, you should find some small dials. One for LUX(how dark you want it to be before it comes on) and or sensativity. Some incorperate a time length too. Try adjusting them. You will hear a small click when it comes on even if the bulb has gone. Regards Jack
