distance of sockets from kitchen sink

Hi all, just wondering if there is a certian distance a socket/spur has to be away from a kitchen sink??, I know you shouldn't be able to touch a socket/spur if standing at a sink but applying that theory alone kinda depends on how long somebodys arms are!!

bonding size???incoming mains to earth block and beyond???

In a new build, am i right in thinking that the earth size is the following, 16mm from incoming mains to consumer unit, then 10mm to gas meter and incoming water mains, with everything else 4mm, ie cross bonding bathroom, kitchen sink, boiler etc. clarification would be most appreciated. plastic piping up to boiler

When installing a new boiler, how much copper tube has to be used before going into plastic, I'm sure I've seen something about having the first metre or so in copper then its ok to use plastic (gas not included of course), does anybody know the correct distance if any?

Hi, I was under the impression that even if plastic piping is used throughout a house bathrooms included, taps and bath (if steel), still had to be cross bonded in 4mm earth cable?
