There is a part for this; it goes on the water main.

It’s a pressure-reducing valve.



But it could be a faulty stopcock

The problem is that old pipe work don’t like to be messed around with and will play up if disturbed.

I am having a hard time seeing what the problem is here.

You have a hot water cylinder that is supplying your bathroom with hot water, so why not just install the pump on the hot water pipe feeding the bathroom?

Or is the cupboard too small?

First of all you need to make sure that the toilet is the right size for a saniflow.

Some don’t fit them; you end up chopping bit of the wall to get them to fit.
Try and keep the bends down on the pipe run, it does cut the flow.

Cast iron is not a problem; you can use a “time saverâ€

Some of the cheaper radiators have 2 bleeding screws, one on each panel.

Have a good look at them and see if you can see the other bleeding valve and then bleed it.

They should work ok after that.

Well if its pumping cold water around the system and working well for a while, I think it could be the PCB board.

I think something on the PCB board is over heating and the fuses are tripping.

5 hours does seem about right for a fuse to reset it’s self.

But it could be anything.

How old is your boiler? Who made it?

What are the radiators like? (In good shape or looking a bit old?)

Do you have trv’s on your radiators?

What’s the tank made from?

Building regs are there for a reason. Installers have no choice, we all have to follow them or we get into trouble. The reason for the mandatory force air venting is a simple one, warm air and high levels of water vapour can cause mould spores and can cause breathing difficulties in confined spaces....
