MICK101,
you have to run a short lengh of 4mm cable from copper pipe (using earth clamps) suppling water to electric shower and terminate at the el. shower's earth terminal. Keep the bonding continuous, from there (copper pipe) to buthtub, radiator, any exposed conductive parts

Electrical Safety Certificate for a new circuit can only be issued by the person actually doing the work. By the way, did your friend extended the existing circuit or put a new radial circuit in?

You don't have to, but make sure your supplementary bonding is continuous, radiator, buthtub, copper pipes, Electric shaver socket, any exposed conductive parts have to be bonded

i'll just add, the labour prices quoted/mentioned above differ, depending where in the UK you are. In london, prices will be a lot different in comparison to small towns

As far as twists are concerned, i also agree, however on clipping every cables that run along the joist under the floor, do all of you guys do it.. apart from junction boxes of course. I always do, say in lofts, running lighting cables, junction boxes

hi , i think it is fair to say that you have no idea about electrics whatsoever LOL and i don't mean it in a disrespectful way. I suggest getting an electrician as that's under part P.
