Leaking Asbestos Garage Roof - How to Better Seal up Leaks?

Hello I'm hoping someone can offer advice with regard to my leaking roof. My garage is, i believe, a 1980s kit one with a corrugated asbestos roof. Over the years it has become very porous. I have tried the usual bitumen at joints and then an expensive paint-on preparation which failed within weeks....

I have a Designair GCLED60SS cooker hood which is only just out of guarantee. The blue LED light that surrounds the glass hood has stopped working.
