Hi I have built a metal shed on concrete base. As so I can not operate gsm alarm due to the shed not allowing the signal to travel. So to have it alarmed I have a wired home alarm which will allow me to designate a sensor to that zone. So my question is... How would I run a 6 core alarm wire 30m to ...

Hi

Not sure if you can get away with laying over top, will leave that reply to others, but if you do need to remove concrete get a sds rotary hammer drill. I used mine they will brake up concrete easy. Can be got from argos for around £50.

How to finish off damp-proof membrane under concrete?

Hi So I have laid a fairly large concrete base to accommodate a heavy metal shed as so I incorporated a damp-proof membrane prior to laying the concrete to minimize condensation. My dilemma is what to I do with the damp-proof membrane overhang? Which is the best way to finish it off? I don’t want to...
