Re: kitchen cupboard door adjustment

Hi Geoff, the screw that connects the hinge arm to what you call the mounting plate could be restricting further adjustment if it is too tight, try and loosen it a touch and see if this helps any and then tighten back up.

Re: Hiding consumer unit/meter

Hiya, the easiest solution would be to make sides and a top the same width as between the wall and the bookcase, this could be then fixed to the wall and to get to the consumer unit you just pull the bookcase forward. Where abouts are you as someone on here might be close and able to do it for you or ...

Re: Integrated fridge - tightening outer door handles

You will be able to seperate the fridge door from the kitchen unit door, its hard to tell you how without a photo because there are a few systems used, open the fridge door and look for clues as to how they're fixed together, some are fixed behind the rubber of the fridge door.

Re: Built in Wardrobe....

I would think 6mm M.D.F. would be ok to cover the framework and i would use 2x2 for the frame, bit of overkill maybe.

Re: Chests of Drawers - Fixing stuck draws

Applying a bit of wax to the top of the runners might be worth a try first, the drawer that is way off level looks to be not seated on the runner correctly. Are the runners still fixed firmly to the unit?
