sloping tiled floor

Hi,i would like to level out my sloping tiled floor area to meet lounge floor area so i can carpet the whole area.Tiled area seems to be on chipboard flooring so you can imagine the state if i ripped it all up.Was wondering if i could put some self levelling compound directly onto tiles and marry up...

just to let you know,if you do use linseed oil,be very careful what you do with the cloth that you put it on with after you have finished.linseed oil is liable to spontaneous combustion.eg,ex girlfriend of mine done my parquet flooring once and put the cloth in kitchen cupboard.7 hours later,smoke a...

thanks again,what about if i have an electric hob one side of kitchen and electric double oven on opposite wall,i take it a 45 amp double pole switch on own circuit for hob,and find out what oven is rated at .presume that would be on own circuit also and not on the ring.

kitchen sockets

Hi,i am installing a new kitchen and need more sockets.There is one downstairs ring and one upstairs.Should i find the leg that feeds the kitchen and the leg that leaves the kitchen,join them up to re make downstairs ring and wire totally new ring for kitchen .thanks for any replies

please could anyone tell me if there is a local supplier in the basingstoke area that sells giacomini thermostatic radiator valves.have one where the whole of the white control part has dissapeared (obviously been wacked at some point).thanks.
