Standard combi drill should do the job, all be it slow. SDS Drill would get the job done easyer/faster.

I wouldn't replace the tap fixing. Remove the fitting, apply PTFE tape to the mains tape, and fix the tap connector back on. Should do the job

If the tiles are too solid to lift up to screed the floor properly, then I see no issues in using self leveling on top, to flatten for vinyl One thing - if screeding or using self levelling compound, you will nedd to make 100% sure that the base you are laying on is totally solid otherwise movement ...

Electric Socket in the way of Wardrobe and Swapping for Shallow Back Box

A double electric socket sticks out of a wall too much to place wardrobe in front of it. Could I swap the back box for a shallower one, say 16mm. Insert a connector strip, and then install a blanking plate? Would this be safe/comply?
