Re: Sealing Internal Brickwork With PVA to Prevent Dust

painting the wall with P.V.A wont harm the wall, it would need more than a few coats of it, to completely seal the wall, which I don't recommend . A 4:1 ratio solution will be fine

Re: Patio Height and Damp Course but With Linear Drain

yes ideally its best to have it 150mm below damp course, but I cant see any problems from the pictures you posted, During heavy rain you may experience splash back on the wall but doubt if this would cause you damp, You can spray the wall with a silicone sealant like aquaseal for piece of mind

Re: Breather Membrane Under Suspended Floor Insulation

I would use a hard back insulation board like celotex or kingspan, you can cut it to fit tight between the joists, and to hold them in place you can nail a wood batten each side of the joists

Condensation forms because of lack of ventilation, you can have trickle vents installed in the windows, and airbricks installed with sliding plastic hit and miss vents, internally, installed in the walls of each room. This will allow the home to breathe and stop condensation. If you are experiencing...

to patch it you will need an angle bead to create an edge for the plaster, and patch the plaster to it,or you could use architrave to surround the area, and hide the plaster, you could use either timber or plastic
