Light Circuit not Earthed

Hi guys,
I want to change over a plastic light switch to a chrome switch, but the light circuit is not earthed, so can i run a earth conductor from nearby socket (which is earthed) to chrome switch, is this okay or will i have to call a spark out to do the work.

Hi, At the moment i have two double sockets in my attic room, i want to add four more doubles to the room, the sockets in the room are protected by a 16 amp fuse, it is a radial circuit, so can i keep the 16 amp fuse & radial circuit, or will i have to change to a 32 amp fuse & ring circuit....

I want to fit a mains smoke alarm with battery back up in my house
and wonder if it can be feed from the lighting circuit, and if so can i take another smoke alarm looped from the first one.
