Garage Roofs

Hi All: Looking at a house to buy. The garage roof, althought it has solid boards under the the usual tar-like cover has had some leakage. Some of the boards are damp and spongy. Anyone have an estimate on how much to repair? It is a about a 9x12 garage size.
Thanks

Building Surveys

My daughter has had a building survey done on a property she is interested in purchasing. Shower enclosures

Hi Everyone. Can anybody throw some light on Shower Enclosures. We had a Shower Enclosure installed back in 1998 and I don't know what the panels are made of. Would they be glass or plexiglass? The reason I ask is because we just got a leaflet from FENSA stating that all glass in Critical Locations ...

[quote="grandmamarel"]Thanks for the reply, it spurred me on to look around for someone who could help. I found a Lennox Boiler Service Engineer who had some (oldish) Honeywell Thermostats (with the slider), and have now had a new one fitted. It was more or less the same size as the old on...

Just read your input, Jasper. I have been reading about a 'so-called cure' called RegCure which claims to fix all problems. It sounds good but I wonder if there is anyone out there who knows anything about it or who may have used it. Thanks.
