been really busy working on the project. But id like to reply to say thanks very helpful i actaully did exactly what you said anyway as it actually made a liitle more sense when i thought about. You ve compleetely cleared things up for me thansk again

My problem with the water rig i have built is that, its powered from a 13amp socket, however the rigs water is fed from the mains which would already be earthed elsewhere. What bonding is required for standalone rig

Hi i have built a standalone water rig for a college project. The rig is powered from a nearby socket and contains copperpiping and is built from unistrut. My question is what bonding would this rig require.

thanks sparx, its a 16 a blue socket brownie, all the sockets will be within 10m of each other, can i put more than one 16a socket on the same circuit, or does each 16a socket need a seperate mcb, also i was wondering can i put a standard 13a socket on the same circuit as a 16a amp socket, thanks br...

thanks for the info , is it always 1 16amp socket to 1 mcb so. i presume it is advised to use a type c mcb for the 16amp sockets

hi guys can anyone tell me if i can keep a standard 13a socket and a blue 16a socket on the same circuit or is it better to keep them on seperate circuits and use a type c mcb for the 16a sockets, any advice would be great

hi i was wondering can anyone tell me, if your meter does not hold a connection for connecting neutral to earth can you make then connection yourself using line taps and does the connection have to be outside the house any info would be grat thanks.
