circular saw for 45% joints on skirting

Can a circular saw do 45% joints for skirting board corners ?

I have seen some decent machines for about 80 quid in B&Q but the teeth that do the cutting on the blades looked enormous for such a cutting job.

Has anybody successfully used a circular saw for this sort of job ?

3mm or 6mm plywood for floorboard covering

I asked my builder to put some plywood on my floorboards and he went ahead and put down 3mm plywood.

Somebody then said he should have used 6mm plywood because of the extra soundproofing it gives.

Can anyone advise on this ?

drilled holes too large for screw

By mistake I have drilled holes which are slightly too large for the screws.

What is the best way to deal with this ? Put small slithers of wood in the holes or put some kind of filler in them ?

Has anybody got experience of this ?

stop noise vibration from washing machine below

What is the best way to stop the vibration and noise from a washing machine/tumble drier from the floor below ?

Is there a vibration stopper I can purchase which can be placed under the washing machine itself ? I feel that would be the best solution - does anyone have any solutions to offer ?
