a netgear router is simple to setup, all you need is your ISP's username and password, it auto detects the rest of the settings. and your pc will be setup by default to work with it :)

you dont need any software on your pc to setup a router, you connect to a web page for the initial setup

well the problem was it was lead pipe so adding another stop cock would have been an utter pain, in the end i managed to open the stop cock up with mole grips. but it doesnt matter now as theres 25mm MDPE pipe running into the house now, its all good and the pressure is fantastic :) the lead pipe i ...

you could use a high quality network cable thats shielded to run the 50 foot as a telpephone line. considering it can run up to 7km from the exchange you shouldnt lose much signal, even better would be having the router at the main phone point and using network cable as it can run 100m without issue...

you should still get a good signal even if you have to use an adapter, the main issue with them is they have to be on the same ring main, so you may find it doesnt work if your running it downstairs to upstairs if your on seperate rings. buy online then if its fails you can send them back minus the ...

ahh well, i ran a seperate circuit up there for them today, like you say there going to have fans as well as its seperate toilet and bathroom, so it will feed 5 lights and 2 fans, may as well :)

do the bathroom lights have to be on there own RCBO ? or can they share the RCBO with the upstairs light radial ?

im mid rewire and dont want to mess it up b4 the sparky comes and inspects the 1st fix :)

so any reason to go with 22mm over 15mm ?

being as though the shortest length of poly pipe i can get is 25m, i was wondering about running it all the way to the bathroom due to the price of copper pipe at the moment, i only need 12m to the 1st stopcock, that will be going into supply the kitchen, then up the wall and through the floor cavit...
