fitting new sink

hi guys/girls

am having a new sink and plumbing in wc downstairs.
does the pipe for the waste go underground or does it get fed thru the outside wall. by the way, the sink is being placed on an internal wall

help with plumbing of a sink

have downstairs cleakroom and have re-arranged to placement of wc and sink. the waste pipe for the sink has been positioned under the concrete floor that the builder dug up. question 1 is this right? what happens if need to change the pipe at sometime I thought the pipe should be above ground level ...

Underfloor heating advice required -please

Any advice/help gratefully received! Have had an extention build and would like to fit underfloor water heating to this area plus the kitchen. 1. Is this system hard to fit 2. thanks ericmark....you're right there are pros and cons with the hobs, I saw a demo and was thoroughly impressed with them. Will have to hunt around for news pans as the prices vary so much. department stores are about 80 pound, robert dyas, 40 pound and argos I'm not sure about yet. hope your mum l...

is it a good idea to use rubble as a base for new turf?
Have a drop in garden about 1/2 metre deep by about 2 1/2 metres wide..and filled it up with rubble,to get it level, but have since been told it's not a good idea. What can i sue instead of rubble to fill this area....thanks for any replies

just looking thru' the site for queries that i have and saw this post.
I was told if having an induction hob, thank the space beneath it should be free, no drawers, cupboards etc...

not sure if this will help. I have heard you can get powerfull extractor fans, but can't remember the name of it.
I would love to know where the hotels get theirs from as there is no condensation whatsoever in the bathrooms.

radiators and towel rails

Hi there

Can anyone tell me how much heat towel rails give out? Are they sufficient enough to heat a bathroom instead of a radiator or is a rad also needed.The size of the bathroom is about 2m x 2.5m
