20% CIS tax

Hi The 20% tax should only be deducted from the labour element of your invoice. That is why you receive the expenses in full. If you provided materials in doing the job the 20% tax should not be deducted from that either. You could either show the expenses received as other income or reduce your van...

Hi LCL
Its a 1960s house with cavity. Should water be getting in beyond the outside bricks? Am I right to think that if there is an area of dodgy pointing the water could be getting in and doing the damage. Do you think I need to get the pointing above the window checked out?
Cheers

Virtual memory

Hi all
My computer gives me a message, every now and then, that the virtual memory is too small. It starts to run slow when it says this. Is there anything I can do to stop this?
Suggestions would be appreciated.

Room thermostat

Hi all Does the room thermostat get the temperature from wherever it is? Ours is on the landing where there are no radiators. The boiler will go off and then strike up again within say 20 seconds sometimes. Would this be for the heating or the hot water? Should the gap not be for a bit longer? Seems...
