brick up and plaster internally. either cut out ext brickwork and replace with new complete bricks or brick up slightly below surface, render over and mark into square with straight edge so looks tidy

you can re-pva over existing but dont allow to dry fully before fitting tiles

gripfill or simular should work but you will have to pin or wedge battens untill set. i wouldnt recommend this method for anything larger than a small run of boxing

if you are not too hot with the gun, mask it off first and remove tape soonest when sealer has been applied

silicon should stick it but i doubt if this will solve the problem im afraid. you need to address the temp difference of the cold water in the cistern and room temp

remove all silicon first, clean residue with white spirit and allow to completly dry. if the tray is plastic and subject to any movement, add weight to tray and then seal. do not remove wieght untill fully set

provided the bath is secure and doesnt move, a quality silicon should work well. are you sure water is not splashing over? or comming from somewhere else?

in preference to pva, if you are using a bitumen based product you can prime with the primer sold for flashband self adhesive flashing as its bitumen compatable and not water based. pressure clean or scrub gutter b4 application

i would check the pointing at all levels on this wall, not just above window. lack of cavity tray or weep holes to allow water escape sounds very possible. if defective pointing, then repair ar required and you could try a clear silicon coating x 2 or a product called vynachem which does the same jo...
