Electrical - Ceilin Fan

Hi there,

All ceiling fans in my home is about 20 yrs old. Now they are giving a creaking noise. I want to service them with the help of a helper non-electrical. Please give me instructions/ where can I find detailed instructions on servcing ceiling fans.

Tiles - what is the best tile for floor

I am trying to organize to break the concreted cement floor of the entire house (top layer only) and fix floor tiles onto this floor after resurfacing with a thin layer of cement. Which tile is best - Ceramic or Porcelain ? and why it is best .?

Floor polishing problem

Dear Doctor

This is a cemented floor which is 35 years old - polishing for 35 years or so, on monthly basis.

This problem cropped up recently about an year ago.

I use cardinal red polish (polish+wax brand) and floor poisher to polish my sitting room floor area. It gives a good shine. But this area is separate and used sparingly, as we have another small regular sitting area. After 2 weeks or so, some white clouds appear in some places on the floor and needs...
