Diagonal tile

Tiling a kitchen, and woman wants a centerpiece above cooker, sink and up the sides of the window. I'm jus gonna put a tile in diagonal. any tips on how to mark this out? was thinking of putting tiles on, hold tile diagonal on them, take off and cut.

tapcon screws

You can buy tapcon screws, just drill a hole and then screw them in, no need for plug! i use 130mm screws for such jobs. Check whioch bit you will need for these. the screws i use require a hex 30 bit, which i always loose and bloody mare when go to use them. ...good luck

well howya doing. i am laying a floating floor in a hallway with 4 doors off it each side. Any tips would be appreciated. i was thinking of laying a strip the whole length of the hallway, and then cutting round the doorways at the end

making a storage space in the corner of the room. using a door measuring 1961mm by 762mm. What space do i need to leave for door? would 2 or 3mm right around be enough?

If you have a full length unit or a dresser unit, use the top of this as your overall height and keep wall units same height! usually kitchen units are 2120mm high, so the top of your wall unit should be 2120. SO 2120 - 720MM WALL UNIT = 1400mm to bottom of wall unit most worktops are 910mm high, so...

no harm, u cnat see behind the units and its only a wall!! as long as it all looks goods!! fair play to fitter for fixing your plaster and tiles, alot would walk away, there job being FITTER!! not tiler and plasterer...some people expect u to do everything

dont think it should be too hard to lift, a nail bar if it is nailed down and screw gun if screwed

u could use chipboard again, or maybe plywood, u could tile over these obviously, dont understand where your problem is, maybe you could post a clearer reply

My diesel boiler won't come on right..when you switch it on it starts to make a noise but doesnt try to fire up. whenm i turn it off, and try again a few times it will finally kick in most times

Low hot water pressure in kitchens

I fit kitchens, and have recently fitted various new taps, and they have feck all hot water pressure..whats the deal? The pressure was fine before hand with the old taps connected. I have tried various pipes and flexis. Is there such thing as an in line pump or something?
