Sizing radiators is not an easy thing to do. Location is important too.

You need to know a bit more than the sites tell you.

There is a site for this, but if you don’t know how to use it, it’s a waste of time.

Under your taps can you make sure that the isolators are fully open? 10mm feeds are ok for taps, I know the ones you have and there ok. The only thing I can think of is dirt in the pipe work that has jammed up the taps. You should get the people back who installed your new bathroom and get them to f...

Bit of rubber between then pan and the cistern is not in right or needs to be replaced.

Easy to do, undo the nuts that hold the cistern to the pan on the under side of the cistern and un screw the cistern from the wall.

Lift off the cistern and you will see it and just replace it.

If your thinking of selling, get the cheapest one you can.

There no point on spending money on a good one if your going to be there less than 2 years.

Has far has piping it up goes, yes there easy to fit, but you should get an electrician to check the wiring.

In simple terms, if you are found doing your own gas work with out the training, certs and insurant, you will go to jail and get a £25k fine. I don’t need to post the regs for this. They are prosecuting people for this and I am sure if you look on the Internet you can find most of the cases. So d...

Oh tony I wish that was true……..

But its not, it’s only a timer and selector, its no replacement for your boiler controls.

They don’t turn your boiler up or down, they don’t tell you if your boiler is low on water or the fault lights are on.

They do make a 25mm to 15mm MDPE copper adaptor and there about £7 from screwfix. Go there on this link m You can’t use 20mm, I know its easier, water regs say 25mm MDPE so that’s what you have to use. Male and female parts………. The only time you have to worry about these parts is if you a...

Do you know this is the first time I have heard of anyone fitting the wrong element to a cylinder, all cylinders are supply with the right size element and there replaced “like for like.â€

What you need is a loft light, a ladder and some boards down in your loft space.

Are you sure it’s the cheapest option?

Right we all look at water tanks and if they’re old and not plastic we always recommend replacing them. But in truth, if they’re not leaking they don’t need replacing. You mite have to re pipe them but its easy to do. You could have a hard time getting parts for them and if you have lead water...
